Your role: Within this role you deliver IT projects and services with technical tasks for business applications in the Manufacturing & Supply Chain & Quality domain globally aligning with business-facing units and infrastructure units. You need to support local applications including workflow and shop floor systems facing wit local end-users and business partners. As part of your job, you run external delivery staff to secure project support and to provide detailed operations and business continuity as per the business’s expectations. You partner with project teams to drive the execution of related IT project portfolios and roadmaps and with Solution Architects to define the technical design of the solutions. As part of your daily work you have to ensure accurate documentation of all activities performed in projects and service management (e.g. Qualification documents, Work instructions, change requests, etc.) activities. An integral part of this role is ensuring adequate security measures for all applications in your scope are in place. Additionally, you are also responsible for supporting and driving vendor and application rationalization initiatives.


Who you are:

  • Academic Degree in computer or natural science or business administration
  • Experienced service or project delivery manager (5+ years) ideally for manufacturing systems
  • Thoroughly familiar with current Quality & GxP IT compliance trends for manufacturing & quality capabilities and underlying technology
  • Broad infrastructure knowledge (e.g. Operating System, Database, Citrix, Network)
  • Shown (i.e. C-Level) presentation and communication skills
  • Confirmed foundation in IT service management methodology (preferably ITIL certification)
  • Profound experience in working in multi-functional, multi-cultural teams
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and business proficient German is a must
