Your Role:

At MilliporeSigma, the Packaging Planner will create, prioritize, and manage packaging process orders ensuring maximum throughput. They will partner with Packaging Staff to adhere to production schedule to ensure shipping timelines are met.

  • Facilitate weekly meetings between packaging and planning department.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for the planning team.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and prioritize where needed.
  • Continuously improve processes and results.
  • Compiles reports and metrics to ensure the business has proper feedback on performance to objectives metrics.
  • Support Cycle Counting on key components to minimize shortages.
  • Analyze and recommend optimal ordering patterns to purchasing and inventory management.
  • Assist in change control activities as needed.
  • Support and develop systems to track forecast vs actual performance.
  • Maintain a professional outlook and demonstrate respect, initiative, and commitment towards your internal and external customers.
  • Exemplary attendance and adherence to scheduled hours.
  • Miscellaneous duties & tasks as assigned. 

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year of Supply Chain Planning experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience with DRP, MRP, ERP or other supply chain planning concepts.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and proficiency with other MS Office software such as PowerPoint.
  • 2+years of experience with SAP.
  • Strong database management skills.
  • Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of scheduling techniques and material planning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt with agility to frequently changing work requirements and deadlines.
  • Detail oriented with excellent organization skills.
  • Working knowledge of ISO standards.
  • Team player with excellent leadership skills.
