Your role: 

As Postdoctoral Process Development Scientist in Semiconductor Materials Process Development you will focus on the technical lead and execution of development projects in close collaboration with global and cross-functional teams (i.e. R&D, Marketing and Production). A customer-focused agile mindset as well as a strong technical leadership are key qualities for success in this role. Your strong communication skills and team spirit in daily cooperation with cross-cultural global stakeholders play a central role as well as your passion for developing efficient manufacturing processes for our broad Semiconductor Materials product portfolio (ranging from tailor-made polymers and organsilanes to nanocomposite materials) are important to our success in the Semiconductor market space. In addition, you will be responsible for executing projects supplying samples of novel materials to our Semiconductor customers to contribute to our business growth as well as the scale-up from lab to pilot to high volume manufacturing to ensure a stable supply chain of our high-quality high-performance products. 

This position is two years time-limited.


Who you are:

  • MSc in Chemistry or similar. Doctorate in relevant field 
  • Experience in synthetic polymer, silane or organometallic chemistry is a plus
  • Passion for global and cross-functional collaboration
  • Natural curiosity and practical result-driven mindset
  • Business fluent in German and English
