Your role: With a strong position in key markets globally, M&A is a meaningful part of our long-term value creation strategy focusing on innovation driven technology. A strong, cross-functional center of excellence strives to professionalize post-merger integration and divestiture for the Group to become outstanding. As Senior Manager Finance - Post-Merger Integrations and Divestitures, you are part of Group Controlling focusing on delivering deal value.


In individual integration projects, you

  • contribute to integration planning during due diligences,
  • guide integration teams on integration best-practices,
  • ensure neutral judgement and unbiased decisions,
  • provide transparency to executive management on the integration progress, and
  • conduct selected priority topics, that require specific expertise, e.g., synergies and integration cost management or post-acquisition assessments.


In individual divestiture projects, you

  • coordinate interfaces between transactional workstreams & carve-out preparation,
  • support carve-out design with focus on financial impact,
  • ensure focus on key value drivers and key enablers during carve-out and transitional agreements (TSAs) after closing, and
  • co-lead/advise business sector Controlling on stranded costs.
  • You may also collaborate with the M&A team, country CFOs and functional teams for a structured approach to financial carve-out.


Overall, as part of the company's merger integration network,

  • you secure the value creation for the portfolio of acquisitions and divestitures,
  • support improving the group-wide integration framework,
  • develop toolboxes, conduct trainings, facilitate initiatives together with businesses and group functions, and ensure implementation of lessons learned in live deals.

Who you are:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Science, or Technology
  • 7+ years of work experience in a global environment with a Finance background focused on PMI, carve-outs and M&A either in multi-nationals corporations and/or Consulting such as Transaction Advisory, Deals, or Strategy
  • Experience in transactions, post-merger integrations, divestments, due diligences; expertise in business cases, corporate finance, and valuations
  • Project-management skills to drive global initiatives and work as sparring partner for executives
  • Proven ability of analyzing complex financial and accounting data and providing recommendations to executive management
  • Determination, analytical, and communicative capabilities to change worldwide processes and systems
  • Affinity, curiosity, and excitement for the businesses of the Group
