Quality Assurance Supervisor

The Quality Assurance Supervisor reports to Quality leadership and provides oversight to the Milwaukee QA team to ensure that the site meets customer and Life Science Quality requirements. Responsibilities will include supervising team members to drive quality, productivity, service, and safety of day-to-day activities. The QA Supervisor communicates and monitors performance standards and provides feedback and mentoring to meet department and site goals. Works in alignment with Quality leadership to develop and retain direct reports. Implements, monitors, and continuously improves the Quality Management System to ensure compliance to internal policies/procedures, ISO 9001, Good Distribution Practices, and cGMP where applicable. Quality focus areas will include but are not limited to Complaint and Change Management.

General Office Environment: Noise level in office environment is generally quiet.
If performing office duties: Employee is required to sit, stand, hear, and use hands to operate all office equipment. Employee must view computer monitors for long periods of time. Vision requirements are close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Employee occasionally will be required to lift, generally no more than 25 pounds.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related Life Science field with 4+ years of Quality Leadership or 8+ years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- General understanding of (current) Good Manufacturing Practices and ISO Quality Systems including more in-depth working experience with Document Management Systems, Change Management, Complaints, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, Deviations, and Audits
- Competent knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, SAP, and ManGo
- Detail oriented and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and/or work with large volumes of data.
- Presentation skills – ability to present information in a clear, concise, and logical manner
- Ability to effectively problem solve
- Ability to professionally represent company policy and procedures
