Your role: You will be primarily responsible for a Global Account based in Austin and their new Fab activities for the Thin Films and Patterning Business Field. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for all aspects of commercial engagement with our customer(s) including achieving annual revenue goals, opportunity and growth plans, relationship management and ongoing customer support and satisfaction. 


Working in full alignment with the broader business functions across the globe, including Marketing/Global Product Management, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, and Legal, the Senior Account Manager will coordinate all interactions with the customer to ensure the team presents a consistent face to the customer and that the organization is aligned to achieve business objectives. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute account strategies to increase Global account’s market share and achieve revenue goals with some business opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms for new and existing business.
  • Accountable for gathering market and competitive intelligence, customer technology trends and other key information through strong customer relationships.
  • Establish and maintain critical customer relationships with decision makers across multiple functions including procurement, quality, process technology, and facilities.    
  • Be the Voice of the Customer (VOC) and coordinate activities for internal cross-functional teams, to drive sales opportunities, improve quality, sustain business continuity, and drive customer initiatives to successful closure. 
  • Utilize sales and forecasting tools regularly (ex: SFDC and BI) to gain efficiencies and support business goals. 
  • Flexible and willing to travel to optimize customer engagement. Preferred location is Austin, TX, but the role may be filled remotely. 


Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science, technical, or business discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry (or equivalent), semiconductor/semiconductor materials processing, or product management


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales strongly preferred
  • Self-motivated, assertive, takes initiative, and works independently
  • Clear personal level of accountability and ownership of results
  • Proven ability to communicate and collaborate across teams in successful pursuit of goals
  • Demonstrated track record of relationship building and strong customer facing skills working in a demanding customer environment
  • Candidate should be comfortable managing, balancing, and influencing priorities of both the company and customers
