Your role:

Diagnotics Marketing is focused on driving short and long-term business value for customers involved in the development and manufacturing of diagnostic tests. The group focuses on cross functional projects that drive customer centricity throughout the organization and drive incremental portfolio and diagnostic customer segment sales across all relevant LS product portfolios.

The Head of Diagnotics Portfolio Development, APAC will lead the global marketing efforts for the Diagnotics Portfolio, specifically focusing on growth opportunities in the APAC region. This role will support two key objectives – increasing our focus on a critical growth market, while also driving tighter collaboration between the global and regional teams. This will involve activities such as gathering APAC-specific market and customer insight, assessing competitive positioning and trends, supporting portfolio roadmapping activities, and developing financial assessments for proposed investments. This role will work hand in hand with the DxS Portfolio Franchise Leads, as well as the APAC Commercial teams, extending also into key internal partners who are critical to creating customer value, such as ISCO, quality, CEX, etc. Finally, this role will partner with the Head of Diagnotics Marketing to define/refine APAC specific KPIs and ongoing goals and priorities.


Who you are:

  • Candidates for the Head of Portfolio Development, APAC should have both a strong scientific and/or business background (bachelor’s degree minimum; advanced degree preferred) with significant (10 years+) commercial (sales, marketing) experience.
  • Candidates will possess experience working closely with customers operating in manufacturing markets; ideally clinical testing or diagnostics experience.
  • Experience with strategy development, product development, and preparation of financial analysis required.
  • Working knowledge and experience with P&L desired.
  • The candidate should be comfortable working with complex, global teams with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and lead through influence.
  • Ability to travel (minimum of 20%) in a global setting is required.
