Your role:

 

Intercompany accounting department is responsible for transactions between our group of companies. In our global team your role as Intercompany Team Leader will be, but not limited to, as follows:

 

KPI

Help drive the delivery of process and organizational clustered KPI’s, measured & reported monthly or quarterly as

 

FINANCE OPERATIONS - MANILA BUSINESS SERVICE CENTER

  • Tickets Resolved in Time
  • Ticket Re-open rate
  • Ticket Feedback
  • Tickets Backlog rate
  • Efficiency targets (FTE)
  • Employee Engagement survey results

GLOBAL ACCOUNTING SERVICES

IC

  • Aging, Qty, Number of open items from Intercompany Imbalances (GR/IR, AP)

 

OPERATIONS

Support excellence in day to day operations for the assigned service streams of the Intercompany team by providing end-to-end solutions:

  • via Global Hub for trade, service and end to end Intercompany Accounting Services including Account Reconciliation, ad hoc reports and other various inquiries;
  • by promoting effective metrics-based disciplined operations, thru aligned Key Performance Indicators that support business outcomes
  • by handling first level escalations and building partnership with Local Finance Organizations and internal or external stakeholders
  • by supporting the continuous improvement of processes, systems, organizational structure and relevant controls.
  • by ensuring compliance on Internal/External Audit requirements, including pre and post audit aspects
  • by ensuring continuous, down-stream and upstream communication for all (direct/indirect) matter, concerning Intercompany Operations of the Manila Business Service Center
  • by actively representing Intercompany Operations of the Manila Business Service Center in global or regional interactions as appropriate
  • support and promote for the overall health of the Intercompany operations regarding programs and projects by actively collaborating within, but not limited to, other finance organizations in Manila Service Center
  • ensures effective execution of Intercompany activities on assigned entities as process owner and/or key user for related ERPs.

 

ORGANIZATION

Support, implement and improve the organizational stability, continuity and development for the Intercompany Operations of the Manila Business Service Center by

  • supporting the globally aligned structure along processes, value streams and balanced design principles (e.g. span of control, shift requirements, business contingency plan)
  • Support stability of adequate, roles and responsibilities of the organization including capacity definition and a robust back up system
  • support further improvement, harmonization and streamlining content of activities for Intercompany Operations, respecting the expectations to the organization structure as well as global or local guidelines.
  • Support achievement of targeted key performance indicators and monitoring mechanism for the operations in scope
  • ensure full execution of the compliance of the organization with internal (company policies & guidelines, code of conduct, ways of working, documentation, …), external (legal, tax, …) or ethical standards or requirements
  • support in the development of administrative procedures or changes and participating to cross function council or the Manila Business Service Center
  • supporting the center wide Risk Management

 

PEOPLE

Provide support to management on leadership and supervisory duties to a workforce of total up to 9+ employees by considering aspects such as

  • structured, timely and adequate onboarding and succession coordination
  • adoption and improvement of performance and stability focused capacity, capabilities and back-up management tools
  • support future and sustainability-oriented performance, engagement and development measures
     

PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS

Support, adopt and drive the roll out of initiatives, programs and projects for the Intercompany Operations of the Manila Business Service Center by:

  • actively engaging into Transformation Projects, Process Excellence Programs, ERP Deployment/Migrations, Process Management Improvements or audit related topics

proponent of process improvements within the area responsibility (e.g. proposed and implement, support robotics)

  • taking an active role as either consultant, receiver or action owner
  • ensure On-time delivery per project plan and other project requirements,
  • critically analyzing requirements, side effect or results and providing solution oriented and risk mitigating feedback to ensuring that capabilities of Intercompany Operations are safeguarded
  • sustain strategic relationships with key stakeholders and project managers

 

Scope of People Responsibility:

  • None

 

Your Role:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or  Finance courses
  • CPA is preferred, not mandatory
  • Demonstrated successful experience as a people manager and/or leadership role is required
  • 3+ years experience in accounting/finance with strong background in inter-company accounting process and/or end to end general accounting
  • 3+ years experience total working experience in a shared service center or multinational company

Functional skills

  • Good English oral and written communication skills
  • Good presentation skills (technical, content, design, verbal) e.g. Powerpoint
  • Good Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in SAP and Oracle ERPs preferred
  • Very High Attention to details
  • Willing to work on flexible working shifts
