Medical Director of Global Patient Safety Oncology (Rockland or Billerica, MA)

The role as the Medical Director of Global Patient Safety Oncology is to ensure the delivery of integrated medical safety strategies for assigned development compounds and/or marketed products including proactive safety surveillance and effective signal and benefit-risk management.
The role includes the identification and evaluation of safety signals, and of risk mitigation strategies. It also entails preparation of risk management plans, periodic safety reports, and other regulatory documents. You will also be responsible for the delivery of medical safety input to clinical development activities and dossiers submissions.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience, master’s degree with 5+ years of experience, or PhD degree with 3+ years required
- Medical Degree with an accredited residency and/or fellowship in a relevant therapeutic area specialty
- Eight plus years of medical experience as a physician
- Five plus years of broad industry experience within clinical development and pharmacovigilance
- Strong knowledge of global regulatory requirements for drug safety and pharmacovigilance
- Clinical knowledge of therapeutic area, patient populations and drug class
- Proficiency in benefit-risk management and signal detection and evaluation
This role can be located at our Rockland or Billerica, MA, location.
