Upstream Field Marketing Specialist

The Americas Upstream Sales Development team is seeking a field Based Field Marketing Specialist with strong experience in Cell Culture Media applications. You will be responsible for developing new product launch strategies in coordination with our marketing team and providing product adoption application support to the Americas commercial team and customers. You will be expected to develop local marketing strategies and create insightful win/loss analysis and progress reports. We are looking for someone with great communication and writing skills who can communicate effectively with customers. The candidate is expected to bring value and technical leadership to the organization. This person will work closely with the Americas Sales, marketing, MSAT and R&D teams to support customer opportunities and promote new and existing product lines. Candidate must be able to travel to customer locations within the Americas about 40% of the time throughout the year. This is a field service role and can be based in St Louis, MO or Boston, MA area.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline (Chemistry, Biology, etc.).
- 2+ years of sales or in a sales technical support role, or Marketing / Product management role within a Life Sciences Company or a business sales development role or 2+ years of experience as a Chemist, Engineer, or Biologist.
- 2+ experience of experience in upstream technology (either on the Pharmaceutical side or on the supplier side).
- Master’s degree
- Action focused with a drive for results.
- Goal oriented and self-motivated, capable of working with minimum direction.
