Your role:

Seeking a dynamic individual with a passion for analytical chemistry to join the Analytical Sciences Liaison (ASL) team, part of the Advanced Analytical (AA) business of MilliporeSigma. The primary role is to generate data and applications to support global marketing plans. You would work semi-independently, planning and executing lab experiments to achieve defined goals and outputs (i.e. creation of marketing collateral, presentations, and posters). You would work alongside and under the supervision of a senior applications specialist at our Norwood (Ohio) site. A secondary responsibility is supporting Technical Service and other ASL members as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within your area(s) of analytical expertise. Based on your skill set, tasks may also include organizing and executing training, plus performing customer visits, on-site seminars, and webinars.


Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Chemistry or related scientific field with 10 years relevant lab experience.
  • Basic knowledge of analytical chemistry, titration, sample prep, chromatography, and spectroscopy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and chromatography data systems.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related scientific field with 4 years relevant lab experience.
  • Deep working knowledge (SME-level) of at least one analytical chemistry technique.
