Your Role:

At MilliporeSigma the QC Associate Scientist performs general conformance testing of products according to established methods.  The QC Associate Scientist works closely with supervision but is also expected to work semi-independently to complete tasks assigned.


Working in a QC laboratory, you will be:

  • Conducting conformance testing for designated raw materials, work-in-process products and finished goods.
  • Performing calibration verification of critical lab equipment.
  • Assisting in recording pass/fail decisions on materials. 
  • Documenting lab and maintenance work in database systems.
  • Following established procedures for QC lab operation and adhering to quality and safety standards. 


Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or other related Science discipline or Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or other related Science discipline and 1+ years’ experience in an analytical or chemistry laboratory setting


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with lab instrumentation: HPLC, Mass Spec and NMR
  • Knowledge of ISO9000
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Ability to write reports and revise protocols
  • Familiarity with computer databases
