Your role: As an intern in the makerspace you will support start-ups and innovative internal teams in the design and development phase of their projects. The job encompasses consulting, designing and making of prototypes and products by using 3D printing, laser-cutting, mechanics and electronics.


Who you are:

  • Enrolled student in physics, computer science, mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Creative, open-minded, and agile problem solver for diverse user-support issues
  • Good verbal and written English skills, German is also preferred but not required
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn

Nico to have:


  • Electronics experience using Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP8266, STM32 or equivalent
  • Experience creating custom circuit boards (PCB), and soldering.
  • Software development skills in C/C++, JavaScript / Typescript, Haskell, Go, Python
  • Web development and UX skills in HTML5
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience or willingness to learn with FDM, SLA, and SLS 3D printers
  • Demonstrated CAD skills with Autodesk Fusion 360, SolidWorks or similar
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud or similar
