Your Role:

At MilliporeSigma, the Planning and Scheduling Specialist is responsible for developing, adjusting, and maintaining the packaging schedule for our Teutonia facility. In coordination with the packaging department, you will work to ensure highest levels of service for our customers through your prioritization of work, problem solving, and overall review and knowledge of our supply chain. This role will require you to work closely with stakeholders both up and down stream to improve processes and overall customer experience. While you will primarily focus on the Teutonia facility, there will be both regional and global collaboration needed to find the optimal solutions for the company as a whole. There will also be interaction with upper level management to communicate strategies, elevate problems, and ensure collaboration across various departments to foster a customer-centric and continuous improvement culture.


Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management or other related Business discipline with 1+ years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, forecasting or planning/scheduling




  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management or other related Business discipline.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of experience with MRP/DRP
  • APICS certification or equivalent
  • Experience in an operations planning and scheduling role
  • Proficiency with SAP and Access
  • Strong communication skills, to include communicating with peers and upper management
  • Leadership ability
