Your Role:

The primary responsibilities of this role, North America Time & Attendance Specialist, are to:

  • Ensure adherence with EMD policies, as well as all US Federal, State and Local and Canadian and Provincial regulatory compliance requirements as it relates to time and attendance and payroll activities;
  • Provide analysis and support in resolving complex time issues including proactively administering data quality audits to reduce the risk of payroll issues/errors;
  • Monitor and trend analysis of time and payroll data to provide support to the businesses in work force planning and management, to ensure delivery of quality customer service and to identify and implement continuous process improvement opportunities;
  • Current on internal & external policies, legal & legislative/ regulatory agencies impacting time/attendance and payroll activities and analyze pay and details on employee statements to ensure compliance;
  • Analyze time & attendance data to review/respond on questions from employees, managers, Legal, and business partners;
  • Manage and maintain device manager within eTime, managing all aspects of time clocks;
  • Identify, provide recommendations and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance delivery of time & attendance and payroll services to EMD employees;
  • Interpret policy, articulate requirements to IT and/or 3rd party vendor and support testing for time system upgrade testing;
  • Establish and maintain strong partnership and communication with HR, Business Partners, Legal, and other MBS teams while supporting HR initiatives;
  • Assist Configuration Analyst in development, preparation and delivery of value-added reports and metrics on time/attendance activities to support businesses in strategic employment initiatives;
  • Monitor employee time/attendance records for inconsistencies and provide guidance for correction process to appropriate teams;
  • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned;
  • Create and maintain the knowledge management system documents, communications and all process documents related to time/attendance activities;
  • Participate and/or lead projects as required.
  • Process multi-state US payrolls on a bi-weekly basis ensuring accuracy and timeliness
     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years overall Human Resources, Finance and/or Accounting experience
  • 1+ years working experience in Kronos or ADP eTime

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytic thinking with the ability to analyze large amounts of data to identify and resolve issues
  • Proficiency in ADP payroll platforms preferably Enterprise
  • Advanced knowledge in Kronos or ADP eTime
  • Understand the employment law and regulatory guidelines related to labor practices and time/attendance activities
  • Handle challenging situations with diplomacy & tack
  • Work independently, accurately and meet deadlines
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills
  • Lead and partner on projects and support change management efforts
  • Maintain confidentiality with highly sensitive information and adhere to data privacy and internal compliance requirements
  • Strong organizations skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure & maintain a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other functions
  • Flexible to work extended hours as necessary
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
