Your Role:

You will provide the QA oversight of all Supplier Quality processes that are necessary to run our manufacturing and R&D activities. In collaboration with other site functions, you ensure that all suppliers are qualified and comply with 21 CFR 211 standards and expectations. You lead the day-to-day Supplier Quality QA team, including the Supplier audit program, the Supplier quality process and the supplier complaints. You are also responsible for the continuous improvement of the processes you manage.  You report to the Quality Assurance Manager and are part of a team of quality associates that drives Quality activities to success with a passion for improving the life of patients.

 

 

Who You Are:

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering with 3+ years experience in a GMP or API environment, Bachelor’s degree in a non-science with at least 10 years experience in a GMP or API environment, or a Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering with 2+ years experience in a GMP or API environment.  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General understanding of Q7 (current) Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with many internal departments
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Capacity for independent work
  • Advanced written skills for technical protocols and reports, as well as customer response letters
  • Excellent problem-solving skills for out-of-specification and process deviation investigations
