At MilliporeSigma, the Associate Scientist for IPS is responsible for the timely and correct manufacture of immunoassay kit reagents to support Multiplex, ELISA, RIA and SMC immunoassay kits manufactured in the Immunoassay Platform Solutions production group, to include bead conjugations, buffer exchanges, biotinylations, single and multiplex detection and standard cocktails, buffers, serum matrices, ELISA plate coating as well as any new product developments.
He/she will produce/manufacture Multiplex, ELISA, RIA kit reagents (involves calculations, measurements, basic immunological techniques); will work with the Antibody Group on the manipulations of antibodies and antibody conjugates, detection antibody manufacturing and conjugation of antibodies to beads, ELISA Plate Coating; and with the Formulations Group on buffer production, SMC production, standard and quality control production and serum matrix production.
Additional responsibilities will include ensuring the lot to lot consistency of each item produced as well as the timely completion of work by working with the team and independently.
