Your Role:

 

Ensures company product and service meet customer's quality expectations through management of all aspects of the company's Quality Management System (QMS).  Supervises personnel and manages activities for the Quality Assurance Department. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:  Managing implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) for efficiency and effectiveness based on ISO 9001 requirements; Implementing and managing vendor and internal audits; Interacting with customers and third-party registrars during on-site audits of the QMS; Managing company's supplier audit program; Managing the documentation process and personnel within the QA department; Analyzing customer feedback such as complaint data and work with area supervisors and management to address root causes of quality related problems; and supporting the site's process improvement program by training, mentoring and coaching others leading process improvement projects. 

 

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or Business Management field of study
  • 3+ years’ work experience in quality role

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with the application of ISO in a manufacturing environment, to include auditing practices and procedures plus having auditing skills. 
  • Experience in a leadership role preferred 
  • ASQ Quality Manager or Quality Engineer certification
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of ISO 9001
  • Good understanding of validation, qualification, statistics and the following problem-solving techniques:  Pareto analysis, flowcharts, PDSA, cause and effect analysis, root cause analysis and experimental design
  • Demonstrated people management skills including strong interpersonal skills with ability to act as a mentor to staff and co-workers
  • Ability to organize tasks effectively with good time management and multi-tasking capabilities
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office suite of products
  • Ability to operate standard PC.  Proficient computer skills, including MS Office suite of products
