Your Role:

The Export Specialist is responsible for managing all export and customer service activities from conception to delivery of products both custom and catalog for global, non-North American Customers, Distributors and Company subsidiaries to achieve Company revenue targets.


This role is an exciting opportunity to join the MilliporeSigma Process Solutions team. You would be responsible for managing complex customer orders through complicated processes in a fast-paced environment to ensure individual Customer requirements are met successfully.  The scope of this position may include the following functions:  Supervise all export shipments to desired locations; Manage and direct exportation with freight forwarders and other outside vendors; Generate appropriate export and shipping documentation; Collaborate with Customer, Sales and appropriate Company subsidiaries to align Customer orders and forecast.


Who You Are:


Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business field or a life science discipline along with 2+ years of experience providing Customer Service support, OR 5+ years of experience providing Customer Service support


Preferred Qualifications:


  • 3+ years export logistics experience preferred
  • Exceptional problem identification and resolution skills
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple and conflicting priorities to achieve business results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under deadlines
  • Familiarity with current export regulations and procedures
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve Customer satisfaction
  • Proficiency in SAP, Windows, Word and Excel or equivalent
