Your role: Join a team of talented and dedicated people who constantly work to deliver quality services and support to projects that span the IT and Business Landscape. You will be responsible for managing, growing and improving the Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany IT Infrastructure.

 

Who you are: You know PowerShell scripting methodologies and have the ability to leverage that platform to craft new scripting solutions and to troubleshoot and maintain existing ones. You possess deep technical expertise in Active Directory and related technologies with the ability to solve complex technical problems through sound, creative troubleshooting. You will also need to be able to examine possible workarounds and escalations as required. You demonstrate strong communication skills; with the ability to develop strategic on-going customer relationships, gain trust and respect for the company. Engineers must also possess strong technical writing, presentation and training skills. Focus should be toward User Experience in all things. You enjoy team work, and actively contribute to your own team as well as other teams and end users that we interact with. You have a drive and passion to improve methods and processes via automation.

  

  • 8+ years of experience as with MS Certificate Authorities and Active Directory

  • Specific Experience with Certificate Authority Services and Infrastructure including but not limited to:

    • Template Provisioning and Management

    • Enrollment Configuration in a multi forest environment

    • Certificate Revocation

    • Manual Issue and Recovery of Certificates in general with focus on SMIME, Device Certificates and SSL

    • CA Architecture and Structure as it relates to Certificate Trust and Chaining

    • KRA Management

  • Focus on Windows PowerShell Scripting skills and abilities and the ability to use PowerShell to solve problems

  • Microsoft Identity Manager experience with Synchronization Engines and Rule Sets.

  • Fluent in English written and spoken

  • Experience to work in international teams.

  • Hands on experience in Windows

  • An understanding of the importance of Change Control and other similar methodologies.

  • Travel less then 5% domestic and international

  • Associate Degree or equivalent experience

  • This is a field based or remote role
