Your role: As Marketing Manager of the Supply Robustness & Control Program, you will work within a newly created and highly visible team focused on promoting our security of supply capabilities to our global biopharmaceutical manufacturing customers. You will lead the identification, prioritization, development and implementation of near and long-term security of supply marketing strategies for the BioProcessing portfolio, focusing on improving brand recognition, sales adoption, customer satisfaction and driving profitable growth.
This position is within the BioProcessing Product Area team within Marketing Excellence & Operations which operates as the hub for product life cycle management, innovation, and marketing. In this highly visible and collaborative role you will need to:
Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Integrated Supply Chain Operations (Network Planning, Demand Planning, Operations, Supplier Management, Procurement), Marketing Operations & Excellence, EMPROVE® Program, Marketing Communications, Segment Marketing, Technology Management, Sales and more
Participate in and contribute subject matter expertise to Industry Consortia – BPOG, USP/PDA Good Supply Practices (GSP), ISPE – to maintain up-to-date knowledge on voice-of-customer security of supply needs and industry trends; actively monitor market dynamics and competitive activity
Develop an annual marketing plan focused on the Supply Robustness and Control Program that drives sustainable, profitable growth for BioProcessing
Identify, prioritize and generate holistic marketing content to consistently support biopharmaceutical customers’ needs for transparency into security of supply activities in a real—time, scalable way; website, webinars, brochures, marketing communications & more
Drive and support various Thought Leadership Council activities under the Supplier Partnership Management theme; write and publish white papers
Periodically present to internal partners and customers; at their site or at industry events
Who you are: The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, self-starting and a strategic thinker with a demonstrated track record of success in the development and execution of business programs. You have shown expertise and knowledge of biopharmaceutical processing and supply chain management. You have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional and environment. You possess the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with a high degree of independence. You are self-motivated, energetic, organized, and results oriented. You can influence and navigate through a complex organization.
Minimum BA/BS in supply chain management, marketing, engineering, biotechnology, or related discipline. MBA with a complementary marketing or operational focus a plus.
5+ years of marketing, product management or supply chain experience.
Demonstrated proof in publishing Thought Leadership articles
Experience in the development of digital marketing strategies and campaigns is highly preferred
Proficient in Office 365 Suite
Excellent written and oral communication
Flexible and willingness to travel globally up to 30%.
