Your role: As Program Manager of the Business Continuity Management Program, you will work within a newly created and highly visible team focused on security of supply for our global biopharmaceutical manufacturing customers. You will lead the identification, prioritization, and development of the near and long-term business continuity management program strategies for the BioProcessing Product Area portfolios. You will be focused on supporting product and process improvements in on-time delivery reliability and product quality in support of customer brand recognition, sales adoption, satisfaction and profitable growth. 

 

This position is within the BioProcessing Product Area team within Marketing Excellence & Operations which operates as the hub for product life cycle management, innovation, and marketing. In this highly visible and collaborative role you will need to:

  • In alignment with BioProcessing Product Area portfolios, develop an annual operating plan focused on business continuity planning (BCP), supply chain mapping and other priorities, as necessary

  • Partner with Integrated Supply Chain Operation (ISCO) Clusters to execute priorities, identify BCP risks and implement risk mitigations, accordingly

  • Participate in BCP activities at the manufacturing plants and contribute industry best practice knowledge, as appropriate

  • Build business cases, if necessary, in support of risk mitigation and in alignment with organizational goals & objectives

  • Generate BCP marketing content to be leveraged by various partners and consumed by customers to drive specific BioProcessing Product Area portfolio growth and profitability

  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Integrated Supply Chain Operations (Network Planning, Demand Planning, Operations), Marketing Operations & Excellence, EMPROVE® Program, Marketing Communications, Segment Marketing, Technology Management, and Sales

  • Participate in and contribute subject matter expertise to Industry Consortia – BPOG, USP/PDA Good Supply Practices (GSP), ISPE – to maintain up-to-date knowledge on voice-of-customer business continuity and supply chain mapping needs and industry trends; actively monitor market dynamics and competitive activity

  • Support various Thought Leadership Council activities under the Supplier Partnership Management theme; publish white papers

  • Periodically present to internal partners, customers and at industry events

 

Who you are: The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, self-starting, a strategic thinker with a demonstrated track record of success in the development and execution of business programs. You have shown expertise and knowledge of biopharmaceutical processing and supply chain management. You have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional and environment. You possess the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with a high degree of independence. You are self-motivated, energetic, organized, and results oriented. You can influence and navigate through a complex organization.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in marketing, supply chain management, biotechnology, or related discipline. MBA with a complementary marketing or operational focus a plus.

  • 5+ years of program management or supply chain experience.

  • Experience in developing & deploying digital marketing tools for internal & external use

  • Proficient in Office 365

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Flexible and willing to travel globally up to 30%
