Your role:

  • Operate as the primary project lead for core Rewards projects and topics across the global Life Science organization and support North America specific rewards topics
  • Ensure project management standards are followed and improving the consistency and efficiency of the Total Rewards organization project delivery capability
  • Act as a source of documentation, guidance and metrics for projects
  • Run and steer key initiatives and programs supporting the strategic objectives of the Total Rewards organization
  • Gathering of project data and production of information for management review
  • Status Tracking of the different projects and reporting based on the updates from the project managers
  • Standardize the way this information is compiled and reported to management (using project dashboards)
  • Create effective PowerPoint presentations
  • Understand the deliverables of the different projects and share lessons learned & best practices across programs and projects
  • Interface with respective global Rewards PMO to ensure alignment
  • Operate as the operational hub for Rewards topics and interface with Merck Business Service and HR Service teams
  • Assist in calendar, meeting planning and travel as requested

 

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Arts (Business Administration) specialized in Human Resources, Marketing, Finance or Technology
  • 2+ years of experience in corporate or consulting Human Resources environment

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Master of Arts (Business Administration) specialized in Human Resources, Marketing, Finance or Technology
  • Compensation & Benefits knowledge /experience a plus
  • Broad HR know-how
  • Project Management knowledge and respective experience
  • Expert user of MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, Power Point) and experienced user of MS Project
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills
  • High analytical knowledge and data /metric development
  • Ability to cope under pressure
  • Diligent with attention to detail
  • Good collaboration with different stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and self-sufficient
  • High level of perception and fast learner
