At EMD Serono, Canada, our number one priority is improving Canadians’ quality of life. Since 1989, we have been providing a number of innovative drug therapies that address unmet medical needs.

We have grown to become a leader in Canadian biotech prescription drugs. We have achieved this thanks to our unwavering dedication to people with chronic, debilitating diseases and by making sure they benefit from world-class research and have access to innovative medicines.

Currently, we offer solutions in the therapeutic areas of neurodegenerative diseases, fertility and endocrinology. We are excited to announce that we will enter the area of oncology in the not too distant future. Our Edmonton, AB, Biotech Product Development site is devoted to the development of an innovative cancer vaccine currently in multinational phase III clinical trials.

Over 150 people at EMD Serono, Canada, from Vancouver to Newfoundland, are dedicated to bringing medical innovations to patients. Our employees take pride in knowing that their work is helping health care providers and patients manage and understand disease.
